Short Bio: Rediscovering Life Through Art: From Convict to Creator

Growing up as the son of a single mother, life was never easy for me. Mental health issues loomed heavily, making every day a challenge. As I navigated through the difficulties, I found solace and inspiration in art.

Unfortunately, my struggles eventually led me down a destructive path. I became involved in addiction and found myself confined within the walls of prison. It was during this dark period that I realized the true power of art to heal and transform.

Art became my lifeline – a medium through which I could express my emotions, channel my creativity, and find moments of wow amazement. From sketches and paintings to sculptures and mixed media projects, I explored various artistic forms without limitations.

Today, as an artist in recovery from addiction and incarceration, I strive to inspire others who are trapped in their own struggles. My journey may have started with pain and adversity but has led me towards newfound hope and purpose.
